Part-Time, Education ​/ Teaching

Saint Basil Academy is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Part-Time Tutor to work within our residential programs, which cater to children and families. This role is a fantastic opportunity to provide educational support, guidance and a loving presence to youth ranging from 6 to 18 years old

• Job Title: Part‑Time Tutor
• Schedule: Part‑Time/15–20 hrs a week (Hours TBD, ideally M–F 3pm–6pm, but based on typical needs for after‑school tutoring and program support. Please specify your availability in your application.)
• Pay Range: $25–$30 per hour

As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in the children’s development by focusing on academic support and overall well‑being.

• Academic Tutoring and Support: Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group tutoring to children across various subjects (Grades 3–12), assisting with homework, study skills, and test preparation.
• Care, Safety, and Management: Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children in the program.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with children and/or youth in a tutoring, mentoring, or supervisory role is highly desirable.
