We are seeking an experienced Christian educator to join our Learning & Enrichment Team. The successful applicant will primarily support students in Years 9 to 12.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ diverse learning needs in an inclusive, nurturing, and growth‑focused environment. This role requires a commitment to enhancing both the cognitive and emotional development of learners, ensuring every student is equipped to thrive.
This role will provide educational advice and direct support to teachers to assist with differentiation and adjustments, and support students with diverse educational needs.
This role is full time permanent role commencing in Term 2, 2026.
Pacific Hills Christian School is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Christian school with 1500 students, located in Dural, in the Hills District of Sydney. Desired Skills and ExperienceThe Learning and Enrichment Teacher will be required to:
- Assist the K-12 Learning and Enrichment Coordinator to plan and implement support for students with diverse educational need, including identification, gathering data through screeners and assessments, development of Individual Education Plans, support to teachers, locating appropriate resources,and collaborating with parents.
- Assistclassroomteachers with adjustments and differentiation to cater for the diverse learning needs within their classrooms.
- Deliver lessons, targeted programs and/or work directly with students with additional needs.
- Assist the K-12 Learning & Enrichment Coordinator to implement rigorous and robust processes and systems that enable the successful implementation of all matters pertaining to the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) within the School.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Post Graduate qualification in Special Education (partial completion or a willingness to obtain), or a compatible post graduate accreditation.
- An understanding of, and ability to, differentiate curriculum.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and families in the support of students.
- Experience in developing and evaluating Individual Educational Plans.
- Ability to conduct standardised testing.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the NCCD processes and requirement.
