Job Description SummaryAdvises students, prospective students, and parents with all aspects of financial aid both in person and via phone and email communications. Ensures excellent customer service by guiding students through the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), intake, assessment, and verification of supporting documentation, providing financial aid assistance and outreach to high school educators and other target markets.
Duties- Must have an Associate degree.
- Must have one year of full-time or equivalent experience working in financial aid, student services, or customer service-related field.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
- One year of full-time or equivalent experience working in financial aid.
- Experience with community outreach and/or higher education student services related field.
- Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.
