ACCIONA is looking for a project manager in its Construction business line. This position will be based in the Philippines.
Job DescriptionMission:
The Project Manager will be managing large-scale civil works, particularly linear marine infrastructure (e.g., breakwaters, causeways, marine access roads, pipelines, or similar). He/She will lead on-site production activities, control execution progress, and ensure alignment with cost and schedule targets within an international joint venture framework.
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure proper execution of dredging, rockfill, piling, concrete caissons, sheet piling, and other marine works.
- Manage production teams and subcontractors to meet technical, safety, and timeline requirements.
- Monitor progress vs. schedule and budget; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with engineering and planning teams to resolve technical issues.
- Oversee resource planning, logistics, and material forecasting.
- Supervise execution of post-tensioned concrete structures.
- MSc in Civil Engineering (BSc may be considered with extensive experience).
- Minimum 15 years in major infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in marine/coastal works.
- Proven leadership in international contractor environments.
- Strong knowledge of marine construction methods and prestressed concrete systems.
- Experience with cable-stayed or tensioned structures is a plus.
- Excellent planning, cost control, and team management skills.
- Willingness to work full-time on a remote site under rotation or long-term deployment.
