Project Engineer – Public Lighting Projects (-PE--KSW)

Responsibilities

• Design and monitor installation activities of lighting projects
• Liaise with external consultants, design houses, suppliers, manufacturers, etc., to obtain product design approval from the client
• Prepare lighting simulation, method statement, design submission, quality plans, and calculations according to the specifications
• Coordinate with the client for meetings, site works, factory acceptance tests (FAT), interfacing issues, and installation works
• Supervise the mock‑up, FAT, site installation works, testing and commissioning
• Prepare document submission including testing reports, relevant certificates and site records
• Supervise the sub‑contractors for the installation / site works to meet relevant performance pledges, safety, quality and service targets.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• Exposure in projects related to electrical engineering/ lighting would be highly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and problem‑solving skills
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• A responsible driver with valid driving licence (Class 1 or
  2) is highly preferred
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer
