DB platform specialist

We are looking for an experienced DB Platform Specialist who will be responsible for the architecture, technical framework and performance of the database part of large ODS/DWH systems. The role is focused on working with big data platforms (TB of storage, hundreds of thousands of customers), performance optimization, technical design and support of data solutions on Oracle, MSSQL or Elastic Search platforms.

• Responsible for the architecture and technical framework of the database part of the ODS/DWH solution
• Optimize the performance of the database platform (Oracle / MSSQL / Elastic Search)
• Perform performance tuning on large data repositories
• Optimize the technical design of applications on the DB platform
• Collaborate with architects, developers and data teams on the design and development of the data platform
• Participate in the stabilization, development and long-term sustainability of data solutions

• At least 4 years of experience on an ODS or DWH project with responsibility for the architecture and technical framework of the database part of the system
  • platform:
    Oracle or MSSQL or Elastic Search
• At least 3 years of experience with performance tuning on the Oracle/MSSQL/Elastic Search platform
  • the environment must meet at least one of the conditions:
    • core layer min. 1 TB
    • total DB size min. 5 TB
    • data for min. 0.5 million customers
• At least 3 years of experience with optimization of technical application design on the Oracle/MSSQL/Elastic Search platform

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools
• Experience with performance monitoring (e.g. AWR, OEM, Kibana)
