For our new venture within the FUTRUE Group, we are immediately seeking a (Junior)
Engineer – BCIProbe & Electrode Design (m/f/d) to develop the leading generation of brain‑computer interfaces with us by 2030, redefining the boundaries of medicine.

You will develop the core components of our brain‑computer interface with us: implantable micro‑electrodes.

• Design and develop, together with your team, our implantable multi‑channel recording and stimulation electrodes, and help to advance them into clinical use.
• Support the optimization of the electrode geometry, structure, and layout to maximize the signal‑to‑noise ratio and ensure its long‑term stability.
• Evaluate and select materials that guarantee the safe and durable implantation of the electrodes within the brain.
• Develop and validate the design in collaboration with your team and our partners; assist in coordinating the interfaces with our development partners and internal FUTRUE teams.

• You are passionate about shaping the next major innovation in the health‑tech sector in an environment with fast decision‑making processes.
• You have initial experience with conductive materials, electrode design, fabrication processes, and µV‑level signal processing.
• You have recently completed your degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Neuroscience, or a comparable field, with excellent results.
• You have a strong drive, the ability to quickly grasp new subject areas, and can communicate complex matters concisely, ideally demonstrated through internships, social engagement, or similar activities.
• You are business‑fluent in English or German (min. C1).
