Your Role & TeamOur Corporate Development Manager will drive financial strategy and operational excellence across our rapidly scaling fintech platform. This role represents a unique opportunity for high-performing professionals to transition from advising on transactions to executing strategic initiatives that directly impact business outcomes.
This position emphasises forward-looking decision support, investment cases, planning, and commercial value creation initiatives while working at the intersection of Strategy, Corporate Development, FP&A, and Commercial Finance.
The cross‑functional scope provides an opportunity to accelerate your professional development across multiple finance disciplines simultaneously, while providing immediate exposure to C‑suite strategic planning and board‑level decision‑making typically reserved for more senior positions in traditional corporate finance hierarchies, with direct engagement opportunities with executive leadership and board members.
You’ll report directly to the GM, Strategic Finance & FP&A in this role.

Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Lead long‑range strategic planning processes, developing multi‑year financial models that inform executive decision‑making and board presentations.
- Spearhead corporate development initiatives including M&A opportunity evaluation, partnership assessments, and capital raising activities
- Present strategic financial analysis and recommendations directly to C‑suite executives and board members, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Drive optimisation of unit economics across Creditor Watch’s product lines, identifying opportunities to improve customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and contribution margins.
- Own budgeting and forecasting processes, directly managing FP&A work streams including revenue forecasting, expense planning, cash flow projections, and capital allocation scenarios with institutional‑grade rigour.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with C‑suite executives and board members, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters and business strategy.
- Partner with business unit leaders to develop financial frameworks that support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, market expansion, and pricing strategy optimisation
- Support fundraising and investor relations activities by developing compelling financial narratives and responding to due diligence requests from institutional investors and strategic partners.
- 6+ years’ experience in investment banking, corporate development, strategy, or financial analysis
- Strong financial modelling skills (Excel, 3‑statement models, DCF)
- Commercially minded, with ability to translate insights into strategic outcomes
