Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Microbiologist where you will play a pivotal role in performing method feasibility, development, and validation of all compendial microbiology‑related methods for new product transfers. You will work closely with the microbiology QC team and project team, while also serving as a technical subject matter expert to external customers.

Responsibilities- Perform method feasibility, development, and validation of microbiological methods.
- Collaborate with the microbiology QC team and project team.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert to external customers.
- Develop and validate microbiological methods for various veterinary pharmaceutical products.
- Train under senior microbiologists on SOPs and equipment operation.
- Follow templates for document authoring related to method development and validation.
- Experience in pharmaceutical method development and validation.
- Sterility USP testing and method validation experience.
- Endotoxin USP testing and method validation experience.
- Microbial Limits Testing and Bioburden USP and testing and method validation.
- Subvisible particulate testing per USP.
- Proficiency in media growth promotion and microbial identification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with 4+ years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
- Prior work in a cGMP FDA 21
CFR
210/211 pharmaceutical manufacturing quality control role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related life‑science.
- Experience with aseptic techniques, endotoxin, bioburden, sterility.
- Preferred experience testing in an isolator.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee Mission, KS.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
