Job Overview

The Pharmacist is responsible for safely filling and dispensing prescriptions and performing clinical duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures safety and accuracy of all prescriptions dispensed
  • Performs DUR checks against drugs and chronic conditions for all prescriptions processed
  • Supervises the daily work of all ancillary personnel including technicians, assistants, students, and volunteers
  • Precepts residents, interns, and students as requested by the Pharmacy Director
  • Assists in drug and vaccine inventory management, including maintaining the integrity of the 340B drug discount program
  • Practices as part of the clinical care team:
    • Participates in aspects of chronic disease state management under collaborative practice agreements
    • Processes medication refill requests for the provider team, per protocol
    • Processes Prior Authorization requests for the provider team, per protocol
  • Proficient in Athena and EPS
  • Monitors, and where applicable, oversees relevant provider and care staff to ensure delivery of care
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct reports.

Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacy License in Washington State (required)
  • Active CPR Certification (required)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

PCHS offers a wide variety of benefits through a customizable cafeteria plan. For pay equity purposes, PCHS calculates salaries based on a wage scale that incorporates a standardized approach to compensation. Accordingly, PCHS does not engage in salary negotiations for non‑provider staff.

Compensation

Starting at $105,000 Annual
