The Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport South is hiring an energetic and enthusiastic House Attendant. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, assisting suite attendants with general cleaning of guest suites. Tasks include vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning/washing floors, trash removal, stocking and maintaining supply rooms, and other cleaning duties.

Key duties:

• Cleaning of public areas such as restrooms, corridors, lobby, and other public spaces.
• Participate in scheduled general cleaning of guest suites.
• Report maintenance requests to ensure public areas comply with brand standards.

Required attributes and experience:

• One-year prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping.
• Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.
• Ability to work independently and complete all daily assigned duties.
• Ability to learn, follow, and enforce cleanliness standards applicable to assigned areas.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and recognize and act in emergency situations.

The starting wage for this position is $19.00 per hour, based on applicable experience and location.
