The Head Host manages the Dovetale host team, leading shift expectations and driving passion and enthusiasm while ensuring all service standards are upheld and consistently executed.

You will take full ownership of reservation systems, optimising covers and pacing, while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of guest data to deliver seamless, personalised experiences.## Principle

Duties & Responsibilities ### Leadership & Team Development
* Lead, train, and inspire the host team
* Maintain a strong presence on the floor during busy periods
* Conduct weekly one-to-ones with team members and set performance targets
* Create and manage the reception rota alongside Restaurant Management
* Oversee holiday planning via the holiday tracker
* Uphold all Reception SOPs in line with Restaurant Management### Guest Experience & Relationship Management
* Build strong connections with regular guests and record preferences
* Identify and highlight high-profile guests
* Ensure Seven Rooms client profiles are accurate, merged, and up to date
* Act as the main point of contact for Dovetale-related enquiries
* Manage the special day tracker for key dates and occasions
* Control cloakroom operations and event-related requirements### Reservations & Systems Management
* Take full control of reservations, ensuring all required guest information is obtained in advance
* Optimise booking pacing and reflect updates accurately in the system
* Check daily that all reservation channels are live and accurate
* Liaise directly with Tablebook Me for availability, closures, and 1–19 pax events
* Liaise with Resy/OT and Seven Rooms for any system-related concerns
* Print daily reservations and Dovetale BEOs for the kitchen team### Administration & Operations
* Ensure all event menus are created and printed
* Order and maintain par levels for Dovetale paper and reception materials
* Maintain all administrative and operational standards for the Reception team
* Embody the 1 Vision, Mission, and Compass, delivering our service culture and upholding our Brand Pillars## About You
* Experienced in a senior host or reception leadership role within a high-end or lifestyle venue
* Commercially aware with strong understanding of reservations strategy and cover optimisation
* Highly organised, detail-driven, and systems-focused
* A confident leader who motivates through positivity and example
* Guest-centric, intuitive, and calm under pressure
