HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Listed in the Inc. 5000 for multiple consecutive years as the fastest growing Talent Management platform in America, we are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to assigned business units, aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive measurable outcomes. This role goes beyond transactional HR — you'll build genuine partnerships with leaders, coach managers through complex people decisions, and bring proactive solutions that improve organizational health and performance.

The base compensation for this position is $90,000 to $125,000 depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of a Corporate Incentive Plan of up to 5% of the base salary paid annually.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:

You will work on a small but influential and talented team comprised of HR and Talent Acquisition professionals. In addition, this role will interface with employees, team leaders, executives and company vendors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Strategic Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that directly support business goals, team performance, and organizational health
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning as the business continues to scale
  • Serve as a proactive thought partner to leaders — identifying people risks and opportunities before they become problems
Programs & Technology
  • Drive execution of core HR programs including semi-annual performance cycles, talent reviews, merit planning, and engagement initiatives
  • Implement and optimize HR technology and workflows to streamline the employee experience and enable data-driven decision-making — we build talent management software, and we use it too!
  • Analyze people data and workforce trends to surface insights and influence leadership decisions with confidence
Employee Relations & Manager Development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leaders navigating HR-related matters, from policy questions to complex workplace issues
  • Conduct thorough, fair, and well-documented investigations to resolve employee relations matters
  • Coach and develop managers on effective leadership, feedback delivery, performance management, and building high-performing teams
Compliance & HR Operations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state employee population
  • Partner with HR colleagues on operational processes including benefits administration, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering or related roles

    Proven track record of implementing technology solutions to drive data-driven people decisions
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-state employee relations matters with minimal supervision
  • Experience coaching and developing managers
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure and playbooks
  • Track record of using data to influence leadership and people-related decisions
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development and change management
  • Experience scaling a start-up preferred
