The Hub Spot Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom‑coded technical solutions that align with business objectives, enhance automation, and improve system functionality for clients.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and deploy custom‑coded solutions, including API integrations, workflow automation, and advanced technical configurations.

Build scalable, maintainable, and high‑quality technical solutions tailored to client needs.

Ensure all custom development aligns with best practices in security, performance, and maintainability.

Define project specifications and conduct feasibility studies to assess technical viability.

Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and project teams to determine scope, timeline, and technical requirements.

Assist in developing standardized, plug‑and‑play solutions that can be monetized or repurposed across multiple clients.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development and automation.

Understanding of Hub Spot’s REST API for integrating third‑party tools or creating custom workflows.

Ability to use Node.js, Python, or PHP for backend development and API integrations.

Conduct peer code reviews and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet client requirements and industry standards.

Implement automated testing frameworks where applicable to improve solution reliability.

Maintain thorough documentation for all custom‑coded solutions, including architecture, logic, and troubleshooting steps.

Ensure knowledge transfer and accessibility of technical documentation for future reference and scalability.

Act as the technical point of contact for custom‑coded projects, working closely with client teams to understand and refine requirements.

Support sales and solutions teams by scoping and demonstrating the technical feasibility of custom solutions.

Ensure seamless handover of completed solutions to client teams, providing training and support as needed.

Work with project managers to ensure smooth integration of custom solutions within broader client ecosystems.
