The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining Script Pro’s internal and customer‑facing production environments. This role focuses on diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues while ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of systems across both on‑premises and cloud platforms.

This position plays a critical role in supporting hybrid environments by troubleshooting issues across infrastructure, applications, and cloud services. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical professional capable of working across multiple domains, including servers, networking, cloud platforms, and application support. Working closely with internal teams and external customers, this role contributes to system reliability and continuous improvement through proactive analysis, root cause investigation, and ongoing optimization efforts.

General business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. This role may require flexibility based on business needs. This role is primarily performed remotely, though Kansas City Metro employees may have on‑campus requirements according to departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on‑campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at Script Pro.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting customer production environments across cloud and on‑premises systems
• Analyze system performance and stability, implementing corrective actions to improve reliability
• Support and maintain infrastructure including applications, servers, and configurations
• Perform remote system configuration, upgrades, and patching
• Diagnose issues across physical and virtual environments, including hybrid cloud architectures
• Collaborate with internal teams (Applications, Infrastructure, Development) to resolve cross‑functional issues
• Document, track, and manage service requests and activities in Siebel with a high level of accuracy
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Clear and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to service quality and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in technical support, systems administration, cloud operations, or a similar IT role
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across systems, applications, and networking
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent)
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and cloud‑based development environments
