Role Purpose

To deliver exceptional technical service and repair quality across Wolfi’s workshop operations. The Bike Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring every bike leaving the store meets the highest safety and performance standards. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance and advanced repairs, and supporting customers with professional advice. The Bike Mechanic will contribute to workshop efficiency, uphold Wolfi’s brand reputation for excellence, and create a trusted, world class service experience for every rider.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full service repairs, maintenance, and builds on all types of bikes, ensuring work meets Wolfi’s technical standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and provide professional recommendations to customers and colleagues.
  • Conduct safety checks, adjustments, and tuning on gears, brakes, suspension, and other key components.
  • Assemble and prepare new bikes for display or customer delivery.
  • Support pre-event inspections and technical support for rides, races, and activations when required.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workshop environment.
  • Record all service and repair details accurately within the designated systems.
  • Monitor and report on workshop stock, tools, and consumables, coordinating with the Store Keeper and Workshop Manager for replenishment.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of customer care, ensuring clear communication of timelines, costs, and technical findings.
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing technical insights and participating in product and service training.
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in bicycle assembly, servicing, or mechanical repair.
  • Strong technical knowledge of bike components, drive trains, and braking systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues with precision.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer literacy for job logging and service documentation.
  • Passion for cycling and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
