Position Summary
Responsible for executing moves and setups across all campuses, including events, departmental relocations, signage installation, and general support for college functions. Provides event support by setting up, breaking down, moving furniture/equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Moves and sets up furniture and equipment for office and classroom needs across all locations.
- Assists with all event setups, both internal and external, regardless of event size and assists with trash removal for the external events, such as Graduation.
- Assists Shipping and Receiving with delivering large packages, equipment, mail and paper when needed.
- Leads the Moves and Setups team in the absence of the Logistics Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and event support.
- Installs banners and signage.
- Assists Director, Safety and Facilities Support with cleanliness of mechanical rooms to enforce fire code regulations and assist with fire extinguisher inspections.
- Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
- Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- One year of full-time or equivalent moving experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience in furniture and/or appliance delivery.
- Experience working at an educational institution.
- Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Your total compensation goes beyond this maximum salary. Your A-B Tech benefits represent nearly 30% of your total compensation. The total compensation for this position includes an 24.67% employer contribution to a defined pension plan, contributions toward medical and dental policies, and fully funded life insurance/accidental death & dismemberment policy.
