** POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION
** The Global Clinical Operations Senior Manager is responsible for leading the operational execution of global clinical trials within Almirall’s development portfolio. This role ensures that studies are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent will manage cross-functional teams, oversee CROs and vendors, and contribute to strategic planning and risk mitigation. This position is essential for ensuring the quality and efficiency of clinical operations and plays a key role in accelerating the development of innovative therapies.
** CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Contribute to build Clinical Development plans (evaluate outlines, contribute on synopsis development, timelines, study cost, recruitment rates, geography, etc.)
* Support in the design and execution of the operational strategy of a clinical trial regarding but not limited to countries, sites and CRO selection including all vendors, including preparation, review or approval of all associated documentation (synopsis, protocol, report, timelines, all study plans –statistical, data management, monitoring, etc.

- technical specifications, IMP related documents, and any other study-related documentation) and management of study budget, including approval of invoices payment and forecast planning.
* Support in the CRO oversight ensuring quality standards and performance indicators defined per program, and also identification of main risks and mitigation activities.
* Responsible for managing Global Clinical Trials low to mid complexity level. CRO selection and management for Phase I to Phase II trials, and low complexity Phase III, including vendors (Photos, Lab, ePRO/eCOA, etc), several geographies, etc. Management of Phase IV interventional trials.
* CRO and other vendors selection for the outsourcing of Clinical Trials and other activities task according to Project needs. Responsible for contracting the Insurance for Clinical Trials thought the accredited Almirall broker.
* Leadership of some activities within the “Clinical Study Team” (CST), and organisation of periodic meetings.
* Cooperation with other department representatives when needed:  Global Sourcing, Pharmacokinetics and Metabolism, Biology, Pharmacology, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, GMA-MA, Patient Safety,  Pharmaceuticals, Affiliates, Intellectual Property, Quality Assurance, Global Clinical Lead and Global Safety Leader.
** REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*
* • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field.  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in global clinical operations.  
• Proven experience managing CROs and clinical vendors.  
• Knowledge of clinical trial regulations and GCP.
** PREFERRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES*
* • Strong project management and leadership skills.  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.  
• Ability to work in a matrix and multicultural environment.  
• Fluent in English.
