The Bindery Machine Operator is a full time, on-site position located in Mission, KS. In this role, the operator sets up, runs, and monitors bindery machinery such as folders, cutters, stitchers, and other finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Daily tasks include reviewing job tickets, loading materials, making adjustments for size and stock, and ensuring that finished products meet specifications and quality standards.

The operator performs routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and safely uses hand tools to keep machines running efficiently. This role also involves working collaboratively with press and production teams, communicating job status, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and working with Bindery Machinery.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including inspecting finished products and verifying job specifications.
• Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools safely for adjustments, setups, and basic maintenance.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for coordinating with production staff and understanding job requirements.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials, and follow safety protocols.
• Previous experience in printing, bindery, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with willingness to learn and follow standardized procedures.
