We are looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Director to join us in building a safer future for Mexican families.

Role Purpose / Mission

This role will have a strategic function within the Marketing & Communications organization, playing a key role in building, protecting, and strengthening the brand’s reputation both internally and externally, as well as directly supporting the sales force as a critical engine of the business.

The position is responsible for defining and executing an integrated corporate communications strategy that strengthens and protects Met Life’s reputation, leadership credibility, and brand trust, while enabling business growth and employee engagement in Mexico.

This role is essential for Met Life to fulfill its purpose of providing protection to everyone, ensuring that the company’s strategy, priorities, and value proposition are communicated clearly, consistently, and relevantly to key stakeholders, including employees, the sales force, customers, media, strategic partners, and society at large.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that drives Met Life Mexico’s business priorities, strengthens brand reputation, and builds trust among employees, the sales force, media, and other external stakeholders.
  • Create clear, relevant, and consistent narratives and content that bring Met Life’s purpose, strategy, and value proposition to life across internal and external channels, including leadership communications, media content, and owned channels.
  • Oversee internal and external communication programs, including employee communications, public relations, media relations, and thought leadership, ensuring alignment with regional and global guidelines.
  • Manage a high-performing communications team and external partners (agencies), establishing clear priorities, governance models, and KPIs to ensure measurable impact on reputation, engagement, and media performance.
  • Develop proactive public relations and media strategies that increase Met Life Mexico’s visibility, strengthen leadership credibility, and position the company as a trusted voice in protection, financial inclusion, and customer-centered innovation.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Human Resources, Business and Product teams, the Sales organization, Sustainability, Met Life Foundation, Legal, and Regional and Global Communications teams to deliver integrated, timely, and effective communications that enable business growth and transformation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience leading corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, and reputation management in complex organizations, preferably in global companies or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with media monitoring tools, reputation analysis, KPI dashboards, and executive reporting, using insights to make strategic decisions, optimize corporate narratives, and present impactful results to senior leadership.
  • Content management experience to plan, execute, and optimize internal and external communications, ensuring consistency, reach, and relevance across multiple audiences.
  • Communications measurement and analytics:
