Resident Church Planter

Are you a passionate leader looking to advance the mission of Jesus Christ by planting a church with the support of a local church planting network? As a Resident Church Planter you will become a member of our team and learn how to lead and launch a Mission Church that makes disciples who impact a local community and beyond. Once you learn what it means to lead a Mission Church, you will begin the process of planting the next Mission Church.

From worship services to Children’s, Student, and Discipleship Ministries, Small Groups, Biblical Soul Care, and more, our chief aim is to make authentic disciples of Christ who are committed to the mission of the church, to maturity, ministry and multiplication. The purpose of this position is to fulfill our mission by being a resident church planter at Mission Church. You will train up to one year to be the Senior Pastor of a church plant. This position will learn to give pastoral leadership by teaching, shepherding, leading, and launching a church plant with doctrinal integrity, servant-leadership, and accountable management.

• Learn the principles, values, philosophy, and strategies of Mission Church
• Sharpen preaching and teaching, strengthen shepherding, and refine organizational leadership skills
• Recruit, develop, lead, and launch a church planting team

• Proven pastoral leader, with a master-level seminary degree or equivalent competencies
• Willing to align to Mission Church’s church planting strategy
• Committed to church planting and networking

• Self-starter with entrepreneurial discipline
• Communicate clear vision
• Recruit and build teams

• Personal and growing relationship with Jesus
• Must make a commitment to replicate our Mission, Pursuits, and Commitments
• Must be a member of Mission Church or become a member upon employment
• Must adhere to the Mission Church statement of faith and constitution
• Must be able to recruit, train, and manage volunteer teams
• Must be over 18 years old and have a valid drivers license
