Operating Room Nurse - Surgical Unit

Overland Park, KS
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7A - 7P
Job Description:
We are looking for an Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical unit. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should possess strong surgical/procedural experience, although it is preferred rather than required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with a versatile team, including a mix of new graduates and experienced staff.
- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures such as cardiovascular, orthopedic, and general surgery.
- Utilize Meditech for documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Surgical/procedural experience preferred.
- No specific certifications required.
