Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care, trauma nursing, and critical thinking skills necessary to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate assessment and medical care to emergency patients.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to evaluate patient conditions and apply appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech documentation system.
• Adhere to established protocols for trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency/Trauma Nurse in a Level 2 Trauma Center.
• Current Kansas RN license.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, ENPC (or PALS), TNCC.
• Preferred certifications: CEN or TCRN.
