**** Overview:
** As a
** Registered Nurse (RN)
** you will be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of residents, implementing care plans, and providing expert nursing care in a facility that values compassion, transparency, and a collaborative work environment. - ** Supervisory & Leadership Responsibilities:*
* * Supervise and support the nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs, ensuring that all care duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
* Provide guidance and training for nursing staff to ensure compliance with facility protocols and high standards of care.
* Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with the leadership team to maintain optimal resident care.
* Effectively communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure clear, accurate, and timely updates on patient conditions.
* Educate residents and their families on care plans, treatment options, and preventative health measures.
* Work closely with physicians, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance the resident experience.

** Education & Experience Requirements:**
* *
* Education:
** + Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. + Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
* ** Licensure &
Certifications:
** + Active, unencumbered
** Registered Nurse (RN)
** license in the state of Iowa. + CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire). + Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred depending on specific duties.
* *
* Experience:
** + Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings. + Experience in supervisory roles and leadership is a plus.
