Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician – Urgent Care

Animal Medical Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Urgent Care team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively multitask, and remains calm under pressure. We see a high volume of cases daily and are looking for a technician who is confident, adaptable, and not easily overwhelmed.

We are a fast-paced, AAHA-accredited, four-doctor veterinary practice offering both general practice and urgent care services. Our team values collaboration, open communication, and mutual support. Four-day work week

Rotating Saturdays

Must be available for closing shifts until 8:00 PM

Shifts include 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays

Experience Requirements

Minimum of one year of veterinary technician experience

Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or other high-stress environments is strongly preferred

Candidates with a strong interest in urgent care and willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting will also be considered

Licensing

Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Virginia
