Job Posting: QUALITY INSPECTOR
Legacy Technologies LLC dba Pac Aero is seeking a Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements. This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented role that supports daily manufacturing operations and escalates quality issues to the Quality Lead as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections using standard inspection methods and metrology tools
- Conduct thorough examinations of materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications
- Review, handle, and file material certifications
- Operate, run programs, and assist with troubleshooting vision inspection systems
- Draft, document, and file nonconformance reports and inspection records
- Maintain accurate quality documentation in accordance with controlled procedures
- Communicate nonconformances and inspection findings to the Quality Lead
- Support implementation and continual improvement of quality control procedures
- Identify equipment issues, measurement discrepancies, and product defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections and audits as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to read drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
- Values must align with established team culture and contribute to team camaraderie.
- Prior experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or a related manufacturing role
- Hands‑on experience with metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, height indicators, etc.)
- Experience working with vision inspection systems
- Familiarity with nonconformance reporting and document control
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Detail‑oriented and methodical approach to work
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and quality‑focused
- Willingness to learn and grow within a quality organization
