Security Officer (Looking to Fill Immediately)

To assist in and maintain a secure working and learning environment for college patrons.

• Perform foot and vehicle patrol of buildings and grounds.
• Render assistance in emergency situations.
• Assist visitors and help coordinate special functions.
• Assist Administrative and Maintenance Departments with daily operations.
• Report any incident that may affect the health and well-being of patrons.
• Contribute to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
• Support workforce diversity in all its aspects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of six months of part‑time or equivalent experience as a Security Officer.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Your total compensation includes a competitive salary of $38,964 and benefits representing nearly 30% of total compensation. Benefits include a 24.67% employer contribution to a defined pension plan, contributions towards medical and dental policies, and fully funded life insurance/accidental death & dismemberment policy.
