Requirements and Qualifications- 18 years of age.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- For craft workers: reliable transportation, must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools), and may be required to travel for multi‑state opportunities.
Carpenter Helper – assists carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures.
Typical Duties- Perform routine duties as directed by the carpenter while keeping the work area clean and restocking supplies and materials as needed.
- Cut pre‑marked material or fixtures using civil equipment and power tools under the supervision of carpenters.
- Be safety minded and adhere to all safety policies.
- Complete all additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in heavy construction with some experience using Symons and gang forms systems.
- Ability to continuously build knowledge and skills.
- Good listening and clarification skills.
- Receptive to feedback from carpenters.
- Knowledge of hand tools commonly used by carpenters and ability to describe their use.
- Understanding of general safety rules for operating power tools and the safe use of hand tools.
