Starting Hourly Rate$20.00 (40 hours per week)

Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Program Manager of RHY, the overnight counselor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy therapeutic environment for young people who have left home, are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
Responsibilities- Accurately complete the screening and intake process for youth who are accepted into the program.
- Conduct hourly visual checks on youth to ensure safety and well-being throughout the night.
- Facilitate morning routine to support youth in preparing for their day.
- Transport youth to various appointments and activities using St. Anne Institute vehicles.
- Thoroughly and accurately document all information and data required for funding sources and oversight agencies.
High school diploma required, associate’s in human services preferred; strong written and verbal skills to communicate with colleagues and allied professionals in and outside the agency; ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member and maintain confidentiality; experience working with homelessness/child welfare systems preferred; valid driver’s license required.
