Located in Newfoundland, PA with group homes across four counties, this position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and sharing in the development, implementation and evaluation process for overall residential operation.
PayRates
- Starting rate: $20.52 per hour
- Shift differentials: +$0.30 for evening shifts, +$0.50 for overnight shifts
- Time Off Exchange: exchange 40 hours for +$0.38 per hour, exchange 80 hours for +$0.77 per hour
- Additional +$0.29 per hour if you have an active C.N.A.
- Additional $1.00 per hour if you have an active NADSP Level 1 Certification
As an Assistant Residential Manager, you will work with other dedicated professionals to assist individuals in need, support daily activities, help implement and evaluate residential programs, and provide leadership for residential staff.
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, management or related health degree, OR high school diploma or GED with at least three years experience in a residential treatment setting. - Experience:
Minimum of two years working with intellectual and developmental disabilities, at least six months supervisory experience, valid driver’s license. - Outstanding communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and manual dexterity.
Pre‑employment physical screening required. Significant walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Frequent outside activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Adept speaking and hearing for normal volumes. Adequate vision to read correspondence, computer screens, forms. Good manual dexterity.
