Our IT department provides innovation solutions on the insurance market and for the partners of D.A.S. We have developed our own applications for the handling of claims and contracts and we work on artificial intelligence, website development and ERP implementation (Odoo).

To strengthen our software development teams, we are looking for a:
Software Developer .NET/WEB with good communication and coaching skills to carry out the following set of responsibilities.
- Design, develop, test and release applications in accordance with established standards
- Ensure all necessary documentation is written on realized developments
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- In a first phase, this function combines the maintenance of the applications for claims/contract management (.NET) with the development of new applications & features (WEB). On the longer term, the maintenance & development of new features (WEB) will become the main set of activities.
- 5+ years of .NET (C#/.NET Framework/Win Forms) development experience
- Knowledge of common technologies as HTTP, REST, JSON, XML, SQL.
- Knowledge or experience with Test Driven Development, Unit and Integration Testing, Continuous Integration and Deployment is also considered a plus
- Experience with DB2 is considered as a plus
- Experience in Agile principles and Scrum principles is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and effective verbal communication skills
- Proactive attitude towards improving processes and finding new solutions to challenging business problems
- You are creative, solution-oriented and enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team
- You can express yourself in one of the national language (Dutch/French) and in English and has a passive understanding of the other national language.
