The range listed reflects the entire range and typical placement is entry to mid range.

Pay Rate - $15.16/hr    Position Purpose  Ensures driving range golf balls are clean, stocked, and readily available for customer use. Represents the facility professionally as a marshal/starter by managing tee time efficiency and enforcing course rules to enhance the player experience.
Essential Job Functions

MARSHAL/STARTER:  General Statement of Duties:
* Performs starter duties on tee box.
* Acts as marshal on course and helps out in any area requested by the supervisor.
* Starts golfers and checks turn times.
* Patrols golf courses to ensure patrons maintain pace of play and follow rules.
* Stages golf carts as needed.
* Communicates in a friendly, responsive and professional manner to customers and co-workers.
* Cleans and maintains exterior restrooms and water stations.
* Frequently operates a personal or City-owned motor vehicle to drive to and from work locations throughout the City.

* Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Knowledge Skills Abilities Preferred    License & Certification
* A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.

* High School/GED Education Required

Work Experience Related
* Previous golf course experience preferred.

Work Experience Preferred    Other Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands
* Moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions. Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs.) and use of medium weight tools.

Hazards
* Marginal to moderate exposure to conditions that are unpredictable and may lead to injury.

Work Environment
* Regular exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements.
