Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a full-time Teacher. The ideal candidate will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters the intellectual and emotional growth of students. This role requires a commitment to developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure each student achieves their fullest potential.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing, assignments, and observations, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience and address any student concerns.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral issues, and academic support.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as clubs, field trips, and school events, to promote student engagement and community involvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other documentation as required by school policies.
- Support students with special needs by adapting teaching methods and materials as necessary.
BILINGUAL/ESL
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area.
- Proven experience in teaching, preferably in a full-time capacity.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth as an educator.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Enrolled under an ACP and with eligible SOE for an Intern certificate in content area
