Coordinate with nursing staff, case managers, and physicians to assign beds for incoming patients based on medical needs, availability, and urgency;
Monitor bed occupancy and status in real-time using hospital information systems;
Act as a liaison between various hospital departments to facilitate smooth patient transfers and optimize bed usage;
Update patient data in the hospitals electronic medical record (EMR) system to reflect admissions, discharges, and transfers accurately;
Run reports and analyze bed utilization trends to support hospital operations
