We are seeking a
Clinical Laboratory Scientist  I,also referred to asa Medical Technologist (Med Tech) or Medical Laboratory Technologist I.The Clinical Lab Scientist I (CLS I) requires ablend of technical expertise, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. They playanimportant rolein the diagnostic process, contributing significantly to patient care and treatment.

Responsibilities Section

• Perform laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and other bodily fluids to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and conditions, this may include routine tests as well as specialized tests

• Interpret lab test results andidentifyany abnormalities, ensure the accuracy and reliability of these results toassistdoctors in making informed decisions about patient care

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures tomaintainhigh standards in laboratory testing, you may also calibrate andmaintainlaboratory instruments and equipment

• Keepaccurateand detailed records of all laboratory tests performed and their results, input data into our laboratory information systems

• Ensure all laboratory operationscomply with hospital policies, governmental regulations, and accreditation requirements

Qualifications Section

1. ASCP certification, or equivalent, preferred.
2. One year hospital laboratory work experience preferred, but not required.
3. Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements stated in CLIA (42 CFR 493.1423).4. Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required.
