**** The Job:
** As a Human Resources Specialist, you’ll be part of our Mission team working as an on-site employee.  You’ll get to:
* Processes Payroll, tracks time and attendance and manages benefits documentation.
* Coordinates employee engagement activities and events.
* Supports recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and handling pre-employment paperwork and screenings.
* Coordinates new hire orientation, processes new hire paperwork and manages employee onboarding and termination procedures.
* Maintains accurate digital and physical employee records, updates HRIS databases and processes employee status changes.
* Responds to employee inquiries, assists with basic grievance management and directs staff to appropriate HR resources
* Prepares reports and HR metrics to support human resource functions.
* Acts as an HR communication liaison by preparing and distributing company announcements; ensures all communication boards and digital displays are updated regularly
* Provides basic HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees
* Assists with off-shift HR communication needs by working additional hours as required.
* Performs other related duties as assigned to support business needs.
** The Person:
*** 2+ years of HR support experience, including payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment support.
* Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
* Proficient with HRIS systems and software such as Workday, UKG and ADP, strongly desired
* Basic knowledge of employment labor laws.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
* Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct, leads by example with strong values
* Able to occasionally work additional hours to cover off shifts for communication rhythms
