Mold Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in injection molding, is seeking a dedicated Mold Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Mold Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on molds and tooling equipment to ensure optimal operation.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mold and tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.

+ Set up, change over, and modify molds according to production requirements to meet quality standards.

+ Disassemble and assemble mold components, including hot runner systems, ensuring safety and precision.

+ Operate tool room equipment such as milling machines, CNC mills, EDM machines, grinders, welders, and polishing equipment.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED.

+ Minimum 2 years of mold maintenance, mold repair, tooling, or related manufacturing experience.

+ Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

+ Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

+ Ability to adhere to safety procedures and complete equipment inspections.
