Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Detail

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting observations and communicating with local management and law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and point‑of‑sale locations to deter theft, trespassing, and disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal standards, and follow all reporting requirements related to daily activities and incidents.

• At least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Armed Guard Card or License preferred.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
