Lake City Foods is a leading food manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Processing Coordinator to support our daily operations.
In this role, you will manage customer orders, coordinate domestic and international shipments, prepare import/export documentation, process EDI transactions, and communicate with customers, suppliers, freight carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers. Working closely with multiple departments, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient order fulfillment, smooth supply chain operations, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, review and process EDI orders/Customer Portals, invoicing, and ASN accurately and efficiently while monitoring inventory levels to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
- Negotiate freight rates, coordinate transportation for domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping, customs, and import/export documentation using Optix while working closely with carriers and brokers to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and shipments into 3PL and respond promptly to inquiries regarding inventory, shipment and order related concerns.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain organized filing systems, records along with other duties when necessary.
- Must have experience in operations support and sourcing/arranging freight with multiple carriers. Preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Customs related knowledge preferred.
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Quickbooks, ERP systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Must have attention to detail with a strong ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply change and inventory management practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in English.
