Accounting Clerk

Position: Accounting Clerk Opportunity
Exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk at Community Living Mississauga, providing full-time support for funding administration to families in need. Join our inclusive and diverse team to make a real difference.
In this role, you will provide essential clerical and customer service support under the supervision of a Manager. Responsibilities include processing invoices, preparing detailed reports, and liaising with families and agencies to ensure funding accuracy. Your strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will play a key role in our efforts to promote independence and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and prepare relevant documentation

• Communicate with families to verify admissible expenses

• Track funding discrepancies and report to Manager

• Liaise with external partners for accurate record-keeping

• Ensure timely acquisitions of necessary approvals
Requirements:

• Certificate/diploma in accounting or related field

• 1-3 years of relevant clerical experience

• Background in a non-profit environment preferred

• Proficient in MS Office and database management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
