As a key member of the Canadian Customs department, you will organize and assist in multiple functions including document preparation, shipment tracking, and entry submissions.
Your role involves daily matching of notifications, processing special government clearances, and verifying delivery notes. Bring your expertise with customs regulations and interpersonal skills to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Match advice notifications and arrival notifications daily
• Input electronic clearance for eligible shipments
• Prepare B3 documents for incoming shipment duties
• Submit monthly LVS entries for low value shipments
• Verify delivery notes against intra-company invoices
Requirements:
• University degree or college diploma
• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and team-oriented skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and understanding of customs processes
