Position: Hisense is hiring: Supply Chain Supervisor

Job Description

Supply Chain Planning & PSI Coordination

  • Managing PSI (production–sales–inventory) updates including sell-in, sell-out, stock levels, backorders, invoice reconciliation, and abnormal inventory tracking.
  • Maintaining daily and month-end PSI reports, formulas, and data validation to support supply continuity and prevent stock-out/overstock situations.
  • Updating home appliances products purchase plans, sell in forecast, container information, incoming stocks, SAP inventory data etc.; aligning with HQ on raw material forecasting and order entry.
  • Coordinating transition planning for new product launches, carryover products, and end‑of‑life (EOL) execution.

Forecasting & Production Scheduling

  • Preparing demand forecasts including inventory projections, purchase quantities, transit ETAs, shipped/received volumes, inventory cover, turnover rates and etc,..
  • Coordinating monthly raw material purchase plans and promotional model reservation plans.
  • Supporting annual production planning, vessel cabin forecast plans, transition plans, and related cross‑team scheduling tasks.
  • Consolidating market feedback and providing adjustments to production plans.
  • Led inland new products and EOL transition across stakeholders, managing Hisense product life cycle.

Order Management & Scheduling Control

  • Reviewing backorders, container reports, revenue forecasts, and order fulfillment status on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Monitoring abnormal orders and stock transfers; executing urgent actions (ERS requests, diversions, APPT pushes) as necessary.
  • Evaluating load cost and order allocation by account/model to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Identifying risks in order flow and coordinating corrective measures with internal teams and HQ.

Logistics Coordination & Shipment Tracking

  • Preparing weekly shipment load plans, production/departure plans, and loading configuration files.
  • Coordinating with logistics teams on vessel schedules, FAK line usage, space allocation, short‑shipped products, and port changes.
  • Tracking shipment delays, slow vessel speeds, and ETAs; escalating issues to HQ and local logistics teams.
  • Following up on container arrivals, receiving exceptions, carton shortages, re‑box requirements, and unloading procedures.
  • Documenting logistics issues and providing improvement feedback.

Cross‑functional Collaboration & Process Oversight

  • Working with HQ engineers for BOM upgrade requests and structural reviews.
  • Ensuring product lifecycle management from launch to EOL material securing.
  • Supporting AC team, order team, and business process improvements.
  • Managing FOB/DDP business processes and internal system price loading.
  • Maintaining communication with HQ on production, forecasting, and urgent business issues.

Supervisory & Coordination Responsibilities

  • Coordinating activities across sales, logistics, supply chain, product, and HQ teams to align weekly operational cycles.
  • Overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of order updates, PSI data, shipment tracking, and internal reporting.
  • Leading cross‑department information flow to ensure efficient scheduling, shipping, and product availability.
  • Identifying operational risks and taking action to resolve delays, shortages, or inventory deviations.


• Training colleagues on supply chain processes and supporting IT/business process follow‑up as needed.

Qualifications Education &

Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), APICS, or Logistics/Procurement Management certifications are a plus.
  • Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Experience:
  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or production planning.
  • Hands‑on experience in managing Purchase Orders (POs), shipment tracking, and container logistics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including account managers, production teams, and headquarters.
  • Experience working with ERP/PSI systems for data input, reporting, and order management.
  • Exposure to reporting, forecasting, and market trend analysis is highly desirable.
Skills &

Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting, tracking, and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.


• Knowledge of market trends and ability to provide insights to support decision‑making and strategic planning.

40 hours/week. $37/hour.
