Operations Manager, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Patron Career Staffing is hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Manager or Service Coordinator to support the daily operations of an electrical service department. This role works closely with senior leadership and field teams to ensure efficient scheduling, strong customer relationships, and smooth service delivery.
This position is ideal for someone with prior experience supporting or managing an electrical service department
, or an individual with hands-on electrical experience who is eager to grow into a leadership role. The successful candidate will be proactive, take initiative, and play a key role in elevating the service department to the next level.
Support daily service operations including scheduling, dispatching, estimating, invoicing, and resource planning
Coordinate service calls and small projects from initiation through completion
Communicate with clients to schedule work, address concerns, and maintain high service standards
Track job progress, update work orders, and follow up on outstanding quotes and action items
Maintain service calendars, technician workloads, and job documentation
Assist in preparing service estimates and proposals
Support material procurement and inventory management for service work
Work closely with electrical suppliers to source materials and manage pricing
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Collaborate with accounting on invoicing, time entry, and job costing
Assist in tracking KPIs and monitoring service department performance metrics
Qualifications+ years of experience in electrical service coordination, project support, electrician apprenticeship, or field-based electrical work
Strong understanding of electrical materials, tools, and common product lines used in commercial and residential service work
Experience working directly with electrical suppliers and vendors to order materials, track deliveries, and manage costs
Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and service management platforms (, Vendor Café, Jonas, Realsuite, Accubid, or similar)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of electrical terminology and contracting workflows is a strong asset
