Lead Health & Safety Manager at Solus

Join Aviva Canada as the Health & Safety Manager for Solus Canada, focusing on a robust health and safety program within the collision repair sector.

This role offers flexibility with a hybrid work model.

In your capacity as Health & Safety Manager, you will be instrumental in developing a Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) while ensuring that Solus Canada adheres to provincial and Aviva’s safety standards. Your leadership will cultivate a culture of safety and compliance through effective communication and training across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Health & Safety Management System

• Investigate safety hazards and manage incidents

• Coordinate safety training with external providers

• Lead audits and inspections for compliance

• Facilitate strong safety communication with leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and Occupational Health & Safety certification

• 5 years of experience in health and safety management

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation

• Preferred bilingual capabilities in English and French

• Familiarity with automotive repair processes and risk analysis
