What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of our reporting function—overseeing consolidated financial statements, guiding compliance with IFRS, and partnering with senior leadership to shape decisions that impact the entire organization. Beyond the numbers, you’ll lead a talented team, champion process improvements, and play a key role in special projects that strengthen our financial foundation and fuel growth.

- Own the Numbers: Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and disclosures.
- Be the IFRS Guru: Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with evolving standards.
- Lead & Inspire: Supervise and mentor a talented team, fostering growth and best practices.
- Collaborate Across the Board: Partner with FP&A, tax, treasury, and operations to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Drive Improvement: Champion process enhancements, system upgrades, and internal controls.
- Audit Like a Pro: Coordinate quarterly reviews and year-end audits with external auditors.
Who are we looking for?
- Its starts with a CPA designation and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Big 4 experience and public company reporting expertise.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial systems (Net Suite, One Stream).
- Proven leadership (5+ years) managing high-performing teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong business acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex concepts.
Bonus Points: MBA or CFA designation, experience with capital assets, consolidation tools, and a knack for strategic thinking.
