Settlements Analyst

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Settlement Analyst to support the delivery of accurate, timely settlement products across a range of energy markets and customer programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and solving operational problems in a fast-paced market environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly settlement statements, shadow invoices, and meter data reports

Analyze meter data and market data to ensure settlement accuracy and data integrity

Maintain and update settlement tools to reflect market rule and program changes

Support the development and improvement of automated settlement processes

Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend solutions

Support special projects related to settlements, reporting, and market data

Communicate findings clearly with internal stakeholders and support customer-facing deliverables

Requirements

Post‑secondary education in business, finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or a related field

3+ years of experience in settlements, billing, market operations, or a related analytical role

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Advanced Excel skills including VBA and macros

Experience with Python, including  Pandas  and  Num Py , for data analysis and process support

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interest in energy markets and settlement operations
