Summary
Bell Canada’s Treasury Department provides support to the Bell Canada group of companies in the following areas:
Treasury Operations, Capital Markets, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Capital Structure, Pension and Benefits Administration. The Treasury department is comprised of some 15 employees who are specialists in their respective fields. We are currently looking for a candidate to fill a Manager position in Treasury Operations. The candidate needs to possess strong organizational and analytical skills as well as an ability to deal with multiple players, internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, record, and validate accounting entries related to daily cash movements (incoming and outgoing funds)
Support daily treasury operations, including payment preparation through banking platforms and TMS
Assist in monitoring bank account balances and investigating variances
Support the preparation and review of short‑term cash forecasts
Maintain accurate documentation for all treasury transactions and ensure proper audit trail
Assist with reconciliation of treasury‑related accounts
Support reporting requests from internal stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, etc.)
Assist in maintaining treasury procedures and operational documentation
Support automated processes related to cash accounting and help monitor their accuracy
Escalate discrepancies or issues identified during daily operations
Critical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury (internships considered)
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow processes and work in a structured environment
Strong communication skills and team mindset
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
