Position: Maple Leaf Foods Trade Spend Analyst

This role on the Finance team involves maintaining trade accrual rates, validating customer claims, and processing deductions efficiently. You'll prepare monthly reports with a keen eye on accuracy and compliance with MLF policies. Data integrity and collaboration across sales and finance teams are key in ensuring audit readiness and effective trade spend management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain trade accruals in CRM system

• Validate and process customer trade claims accurately

• Communicate with Sales and Accounts Receivable on deductions

• Prepare monthly reporting and account reconciliations

• Liaise with auditors on compliance and reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Finance or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in trade spend or financial analysis

• Understanding of accrual methodologies and trade spend analysis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP
