Adecco is currently hiring a  Financial   Controller  for a strategic leadership role within a growing organization. Responsibilities

Lead monthly and quarterly financial close, including P&L, balance sheet, WIP, and cash flow reporting

Oversee project cost accounting activities such as budgeting, progress billings, holdbacks, and change orders

Drive accuracy in Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasting and Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) reviews

Partner with operations to improve forecasting, margin tracking, and overall decision‑making

Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and cash flow with strong internal controls

Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, aligning financial planning with project backlog and pipeline

Own and optimize the ERP system (Jonas Premier), including automation, reporting, and dashboard creation

Develop financial insights and reporting tools to support leadership decision‑making

Coach and mentor the finance team, fostering growth, accountability, and collaboration

Represent Finance within the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), supporting performance tracking and execution

Qualifications

Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

CPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA preferred)

7-10+ years of experience in construction, general contracting, or project‑based environments

Strong expertise in job costing, WIP, and revenue recognition

Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Power Query and Pivot Tables)

Experience with ERP systems;
Jonas Premier is considered a strong asset

Deep understanding of ASPE/GAAP, progress billing, subcontractor compliance, and bonding/insurance requirements

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Hands‑on approach with the ability to work cross‑functionally with operations teams

Ability to remain calm under pressure and drive results in a fast‑paced environment
