Construction Industry Controller

Position: Construction Industry Controller Role
Drive financial leadership as a Controller in the construction industry. Oversee accounting operations, budgets, and financial forecasts for organizational success.

This role requires minimum five years of accounting experience in construction, finance, or related fields. You will prepare monthly financial statements, implement financial processes, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your leadership will guide project management teams in analyzing job costs and capital budgets, contributing to long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations including A/R and A/P

• Coordinate budget preparation and financial forecasting

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

• Ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations

• Collaborate with project teams on job costs analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred

• At least 5 years of experience in construction accounting

• Proven financial planning and risk management skills

• Familiarity with AIA documentation

• Strong leadership and communication skills
